Grand
Canyon, Arizona: Arts for the Parks is a national competition conducted
by the National Park Academy of the Arts. Paintings depict landscapes,
wildlife, and cultural themes preserved by the National Park System
nationwide. This exhibit features the top 100 paintings selected from
thousands entered in the 2005 competition.
Arts for the Parks Opening Reception
- WHEN: Monday, April 10, 2006 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- WHERE: Historic Kolb Studio, South Rim Village, Grand Canyon National Park
Exhibit is on display through June 5, 2006.
Most of the paintings featured in the exhibit are for sale with
proceeds going to the Grand Canyon Association. Exhibits at Kolb Studio
are sponsored by the Grand Canyon Association and Grand Canyon National
Park.
