Grand Canyon Skiing

Yes, there's skiing in Arizona. The San Francisco Peaks just outside of Flagstaff offer skiing and snowboarding at the Arizona Snowbowl from December to April, depending on seasonal snowfall. There are 32 runs for skiing and snowboarding and acres of trails for cross-country skiing. The Mormon Lakes District of Coconino National Forest (just southwest of Flagstaff) also has excellent cross-country skiing in winter. Flagstaff is full of ski and snowboarding shops to get you ready for the slopes.
